It is no secret to those that know me, my love for medicine and caring for children has been blooming since I was quite young. I firmly believe this is what God created me to do. I began my nursing journey as an associate nurse graduating from Roane State in 2013. I then proceeded to achieve my BSN and MSN degrees from King University. During this time, I was blessed to work among some of the best at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital (ETCH) spending most of my time in hematology/oncology and medical-surgical. In 2018, I left my role at ETCH and began my nurse practitioner career in Middlesboro, KY in a primary care setting where I spent 4 ½ years loving the children on Bell County and the surrounding communities.

Growing up in rural southeast Kentucky, access to specialty medicine was not really a thing, especially for children. I am so fortunate for this opportunity to bring specialized pediatric gastrointestinal medicine to the region. I pledge myself to ensuring the most comprehensive, high-quality care you and your children deserve.

I have the most amazing family. I am married to my best friend. I have an amazing bonus daughter, two daughters and a son of my own. We have a German Shepherd named Beau and a cat named Molly. We live in a tiny rural area of northeast Tennessee and spend our free time fishing and swimming or going on small adventures.
