GI For Kids is a private pediatric gastroenterology and nutrition practice based in Knoxville, Tennessee, dedicated to providing exceptional digestive, liver, and nutritional care for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. We proudly serve patients and families throughout East Tennessee and the surrounding region, with convenient satellite clinics located in Crossville, Cleveland, Morristown, Johnson City, Tennessee, and Corbin, Kentucky.
Our Knoxville office offers a comprehensive range of advanced diagnostic and treatment services in one convenient location, including radiology, ultrasounds including shearwave, allergy skin testing, breath testing, state-of-the-art gastrointestinal motility and manometry testing, and phlebotomy services through Pathgroup. We also operate a full-service Infusion Center within our clinic, providing a variety of infusion therapies in a comfortable, child-friendly environment. Equipped with reclining chairs, entertainment options, and staffed by experienced pediatric infusion nurses, our center is designed to make treatments as safe and comfortable as possible for every child.
Our multidisciplinary team includes four board-certified pediatric gastroenterologists, a board-certified pathologist, ten nurse practitioners, one physician assistant, a registered dietitian, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff. Together, we provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for the full spectrum of pediatric gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and nutritional disorders.
As our practice continues to grow, we are proud to offer advanced endoscopy services for both pediatric and adult patients. With fellowship-trained expertise in advanced endoscopy, we are now able to perform highly specialized procedures that previously required many patients to travel outside the region for care. By bringing these advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services to East Tennessee, we are improving access to timely, high-quality treatment, reducing the burden of travel for patients and families, and ensuring that more individuals can receive specialized gastrointestinal care close to home. This expansion represents a significant advancement for healthcare in our community and reflects our ongoing commitment to meeting the evolving needs of the patients we serve.
At GI For Kids, we believe that exceptional care extends beyond treating a diagnosis. Our providers work collaboratively to develop individualized treatment plans that combine evidence-based medicine with nutritional guidance, lifestyle modifications, and a compassionate understanding of each child’s emotional and social well-being. We partner closely with families to ensure every patient receives personalized, coordinated care throughout their healthcare journey.
We are also committed to advancing pediatric medicine through participation in clinical research, helping provide patients with access to emerging therapies while contributing to the future of pediatric gastroenterology.
GI For Kids cares for patients from birth through 26 years of age. Our physicians provide outpatient consultation and procedural services at Turkey Creek Medical Center, the University of Tennessee Medical Center, Dolly Parton Children’s Hospital, Middlebrook Ambulatory Surgery Center, The Surgery Center of Cleveland, and Cumberland Valley Surgical Center. We also provide inpatient pediatric gastroenterology care at Dolly Parton Children’s Hospital.
In addition, our providers work closely with the neonatal teams at Dolly Parton Children’s Hospital and the University of Tennessee Medical Center to coordinate the care of infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This collaboration ensures a seamless transition from the hospital to outpatient care, allowing our youngest patients to receive the highest level of specialized support throughout their treatment and recovery.
