GI for Kids is a private pediatric gastroenterology and nutrition center located in Knoxville, TN. We serve patients and families from East Tennessee and the surrounding states. We currently have satellite locations in Crossville, TN; Cleveland, TN; Morristown, TN; and Corbin, KY for the convenience of our families. Our primary location in Knoxville, TN offers multiple in-office services including ultrasound, allergy scratch testing, breath testing, Labcorp phlebotomy services and state of the art manometry testing. Our Infusion Center is located inside our clinic to provide multiple infusions and treatments. It is equipped with comfortable recliners, movies, and experienced infusion nurses to make treatments as pleasant as possible. Our team of gastroenterology specialists includes five gastroenterologists, a pathologist, eight nurse practitioners, a physician assistant, a registered dietitian, multiple nurses, and support staff dedicated to the diagnosing, treatment, and care of patients in all areas of pediatric gastroenterology, including liver and nutritional problems. They work closely together in coordinating each patient’s medical care by utilizing modern medicine, holistic approaches, homeopathic interventions, and understanding the social and emotional needs of our patients and their families. We recognize the need for and are actively involved in and support clinical research. We also support the community with two non-profit organizations that provide outreach education, as well as several college and camp scholarships every year.
We serve children from birth through 26 years old, offering outpatient services at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital, Turkey Creek Medical Center, University of Tennessee Medical Center, Middlebrook Ambulatory Surgery Center, The Surgery Center of Cleveland, Cumberland Valley Surgical Center, and general inpatient care at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital. In addition, we coordinate care with the neonatologists at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital and University of Tennessee Medical Center for patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit so that we can offer the best continued care after discharge.
