ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS
I have wanted to be a medical provider for as long as I can remember. I was born in Colombia and moved to the US at the age of 5. I started out as a bedside nurse in an adult step down unit and transitioned to a surgical pediatric unit. I realized I wanted to help patients beyond the scope of practice of a bedside nurse so I decided to pursue a career as a pediatric nurse practitioner. I am so excited to be working within a specialty that encompasses so much of our overall health. I want to use my critical thinking skills and passion for vulnerable populations to care for my patients and their families. My goal is to always be open to new learning opportunities in order to provide my patients with evidence based and holistic care.
